Mike, Debbie, Jackie and Tyler (with Kristi hidden in the background and Rita with grandaugher Sarah)The only picture I have of Debbie and her family is nearly six years old, because it was taken the last time I saw them at Mom's and Dad's 70th anniversary. Jackie is now a college student, and Tyler has long hair and is a full-blown teen-ager.
Debbie was always an animal-lover, and Rita tells me that Jackie is too -- and that she is an aspiring writer! So maybe we can prod her into contributing to our blog so we can get to know her better.
I remember that when my cat Spike died, about 12 years ago now, Jackie sent me the sweetest letter and a kitty-cat Beanie Baby. It really touched my heart that she reached out to her unknown great-aunt to give me sympathy.
Mostly I hear about this family second-hand, so I'm inviting the rest of you to paint a better portrait of who they are. Pictures don't quite do the job, do they?

This is very nice, Nan; but I do want to correct the baby in the picture....she is Don's and Regi's little Sarah who was born between Kristi's Nicholas and Kristofer. Hard to keep up with all the little ones, huh?
