This photo of Mom and Dad really tickles me. I just love it! We write about what troopers they were, how hard they worked, but let's not forget their ability to have a good laugh -- Dad dancing his jigs and Mom often giggling 'til the tears rolled down her cheeks. :) Who remembers what they were laughing about here?? :)

I have never seen that picture, and it's just wonderful! Dad looks like he's going to burst, and Momma looks like she knows something we don't. Funny you should post this, because I was just thinking today that they weren't "all work and no play" and how Mom could get the giggles and Dad could ham it up. We need to lighten up, and this is just what I needed! Thanks, sweetie.

Rita tells me she and Don and Mom and Dad were getting ready to go over to Stockport for an ice cream cone, and Don was trying to get them to smile for a picture; so he asked them to remember back when they were young, and having lots of fun plus other comments that got them tickled.
