A sneak peek

Aunt Beth took this picture of Thomas Field Falter last evening when he was about 14 hours old! Welcome to the world, little grandbaby! Is he adorable or what??

Oh, good!! A picture! :) He looks like his entry into this world has been a pretty serious affair. He's adorable! Congratulations to the Hopkins-Falter family, and of course, to Grandma! :)

He is also a very, very smart baby. You can just see it in his eyes. He knows how to stick out his tongue and blow bubbles already. Though I am sure he was very tired from being born, he does have an air of placidness about him. He didn't fuss at all for the 2 hrs I was there.

Plus, he smells really good. And he's soft. Flawless, really.

I am rather fond of this wee beastie. :) And yes, I love him more than Harvey - that makes two of you! ;)

And the other one is not your mommy but your niece, right? Do I come soon after Harvey?

I never dreamed little Thomas on "Ajax Rock"! He is adorable and looks so healthy and alert.

Congratulations to Mitch and Laurie, and all the family! Laurie, this little quote was on my "Mom" calendar the day Thomas was born, and I want to share it with you.

"Before you were conceived I wanted you
Before you were born I loved you
Before you were here an hour I would die for you
This is the miracle of life."

Beautiful, Rita. And as mothers, we know it's true, don't we?
