Hey, I'm going to see Beth this morning. I'd really like to see you and Laurie and the mini-Mitch soon.
We're (really) throwing a party of sorts on Friday evening. It's being billed as a low-tech, spend no money, come-as-you-are open house with muchies, lemonade and iced tea, board games and cards and a room to chew the fat for the old ladies. For the kids, there will be a sprinkler to run through, jars for lightning bugs, a whale pinata sent by partygirlpattifromdallas, jump rope and wheelbarrow rides.
Also available is our hot tub and outdoor shower, a/c inside and chairs outside. Nobody is being asked to bring anything except a bathing suit and towel and any CD, DVD or game to share.
Out whole church and neighborhood is invited. Wanna' come up and join the rowdy Methodists? I have a clean-sheets bed you can use to stay the night.
